Candy holder alterations:

-Use worsted weight yarn & 3 mm hook

-Top of candy holder: Complete pattern until row 14 (purple top of apple) then skip rows 15-38 (black bottom of apple) and complete the face and drips (rows 14 (blo)-20 in purple).

-Bottom of candy holder: Using black yarn chain 66 and continue the pattern (rows 15-38). Crab stitch the top row of the bottom.

Key chain alterations:

-Used 2 threads from red, black and green embroidery thread & a .60 mm hook

-Followed pattern

-Added a leaf: chain 5,

First side: sl st into 2nd chain form the hook, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet/single crochet/double crochet into end chain,

Other side: half double crochet, single crochet, sl st

Fasten off and leave a long thread, sew onto apple next to stem

-Sew on key chain link just behind the stem and leaf
