Small Triangle Backpack Crochet Pattern

Small Triangle Backpack (Amigurumi Accessory) Crochet Pattern 🎒 (not tested)

General Abreviations:
-Ls: left side
-Rs: right side
-Ct: center
-;    ; : complete stitches between ; & ; in same stitch
-# stitches: e.g. 2 sc make a sc into the next two stitches
-Mc: magic circle
-Sl st: slip stitch
-Sc: single crochrt
-Tr: triple crouchet
-Dc: double crochet
-Hdc: half double crochet
-Flo: front loop only

-Blo: back loop only
-Inc: make two stitches into stitch (increases number of stitches by 1)
-#stitches: e.g. 3sc make 3 single crochets into same stitch
-Dec: sc by hooking into flo of the next two stitches stitches (decreases number of stitches by 1)

-Sk st: skip stitch
-Yo: yarn over

Materials:
– yarn
– mm hook

Pattern:

Backpack base 1:
Using dark blue
-4 sc into Mc, ch and turn (4)
-2sc; 4 sc into next 4 are. 2sc, ch and turn (6)
Using gold
–sc, ch and turn (6)
-2sc; 4 sc into next 4 sc, 2sc, ch and turn (8)
Using light blue
-sc, ch and turn (8)
–2sc; 4 sc into next 4 sc, 2sc, ch and turn (10)
Using torques
-sc; sc; hdc; dc; tr; tr; dc; hdc; sc; sc (10)
-sc down the left side (5)
-2sc into each of the scs at the bottom (6)
– sc up the right side (5)
-sc across the top (10)
-sl st Dow on the left side (5)

Flap;
1-5: sc across bottom sts, turn (do not ch) (6)
-sl st around whole part, ch 1 at corners until you hit left side (already slip stitched)
-Fasten off and weave in tail

Backpack base 2;
Using dark blue
-4 sc into Mc, ch and turn (4)
-2sc; 4 sc into next 4 are. 2sc, ch and turn (6)
Using gold
–sc, ch and turn (6)
-2sc; 4 sc into next 4 sc, 2sc, ch and turn (8)
Using light blue
-sc, ch and turn (8)
–2sc; 4 sc into next 4 sc, 2sc, ch and turn (10)
Using torques
-sc; sc; hdc; dc; tr; tr; dc; hdc; sc; sc (10)
-sc down the left side (5)
-2sc into each of the scs at the bottom (6)
– sc up the right side (5)
-sc across the top (10)
-sl st Dow on the left side (5)
-sl st around whole part
-Leave long tail for attaching both sides together

Attaching together & straps:
-Put both bases together (wrong sides facing each other), sl st to attach touching corners (right side)& then up the right side (sl st only the inside looop) 4 st
-sl st up only on the base with flap (up to corner next to flap)
-ch 25 (test on items to ensure they are not too long or too short), sl st into right corner (at original connecting sl st)
-sl st bottom and up left as above
-ch 25 (test on items to ensure they are not too long or too short), sl st into right corner (at original connecting sl st)
-Fasten off and weave in tail

Loop and button:
-Attach yarn on corner of flap, 2 sl st, chain 3, skip 2 st, 2 sl st
-Fasten off and weave in tail

-Sew button onto non-flap base (at top or as low as desired)
