Crochet baby onesie Crochet Pattern (version 2)

Crochet baby onesie (version 2, single crotchet)

This is another version of the onesie (using single crotchet and a g hook) that I shared here. It is adorable, easy and works up really fast.

This pattern is an altered version of the one posted on Repeat Crafter Me (this site is helpful as it also has pictures to illustrate instructions).

Materials:

  • 4 weight medium yarn (Yarn pictures: Bernat Cotton Handicrafter Ombres Yarn (50 g/1.75 oz), Swimming Pool Ombre)
  • 5 buttons, size will depend on the size of your crochet holes (Buttons pictured above from: Naler 240pcs Button Kit, Mixed Shapes & Colors Buttons with Storage Box for Sewing Craft Decoration Scrapbook, 2 & 4 Holes)
  • Size G Crochet Hook
  • Yarn needle
  • *size is approximate but may fit a baby at 6-9 months old. To ensure fit measure baby and adjust, increase or decrease size by changing the weight of the yarn or changing the size of the crochet hook. Double crochet makes the garment longer but cooler (has holes), while single crochet makes garment shorter but warmer (smaller holes). See this website for sizing: https://forum.crochetville.com/topic/9021-size-chart-for-baby-clothes/
